The last few posts have generated many comments and questions, please keep them coming and will do my best to answer them as much as I can. On the last post someone posted a link to the playstaion blog that featured an interview with Stig Asmussen, the Game Director of God of War 3. Here is the video for that interview:
It is now official and public that Stig has taken on the directorial duties that have previously been held by David Jaffe and Cory Barlog. I would like to assure you guys that the God of War franchise is in good hands. Stig has been part of the team since the very beginning of the franchise.
There have also been many comments in regards to the gods and why they are not in the trailer. I will just refer you to the description of God of War 3 on the official playstation blog:
"God of War® 3 finds Kratos raining carnage and destruction upon the Gods who have betrayed him and the entire Ancient Greek world. Armed with his deadly double-chained blades, Kratos will take on mythology’s darkest creatures while solving intricate puzzles on his merciless quest to destroy Olympus and the mighty Zeus himself."
Kratos has not forgotten what his goal is............

It's good to know that Stig was involved in the previous GoW's, the sequel should stay true to the first two.
My only suggestion for GoWIII is to not make any drastic changes to the game-play. Of course we all want to see improvements (some have suggested dynamic QTE's), but keep the core game-play the same: separate buttons for horizontal/vertical attacks, the ability to move/adjust while attacking, no lock-on, stopping in a middle of a combo... all of these are what makes GoW's battle system perfect. If you can improve it beyond that, it will be GODLY!
Thanks for the updates, Bruno. It's really good to know that you're listening to the fans, too. I wish more developers would be this open to the fans, instead of being secretive and sure of themselves.

Bruno, Can u please explain too me what that last sentence means? Will Kratos fight the Gods in this game??? because thats what everyone is hoping for...we WANT to fight HELIOS, POSIDEN, ZUES, HADES, and so forth.

....like longer button sequences and stuff, give the player the ability to cancel in the middle of ANY combo and do something else?
.....the boss fight health bars were very nicely done in the first one, bring those back too, THANKS

Ya, like the other poster said, please don't rush this game, make it as perfect as possible. All the extra stuff to unlock like costumes and extra powers and the reply value from the old games should be in the this. And it would be amazing to fight the gods as well, I am not going to worry too much about the graphics because I trust you guys and as long as its not rushed it will be better then what we have seen so far....i hope.

Like other before me, I would also like to see another trailer at GDC.
So in the first god of war we had medusa's head, in god of war 2 we had Euryale's head who i might put out was medusa's sister. so now im wondering if god of war 3 will have the final sister Stheno who according to myth was the more ferocious of the 3 sisters.

the game looks great, cant wait to see more!
Since the sister of Fate have been killed i wonder if next to be destroyed are Alecto, Megaera, and Tisiphone who make up the Erinyes or Furies.

Im hoping GOW III, would at least have 20 hours of gameplay, consider there is so much to be told in the story. Also, I would love to have in-game music, the option to upload videos directly to youtube just like how PixelJunk Eden, lots and lots of trophies to get.

yes, I would like to see in game music. Both GOW 1 and 2 had an awesome soundtrack. But it would be nice to add this option. Also, consider trophies are mandatory I would like to see lots and lots of trophies to unlock within the game.
Please Concentrate on a loong single player campaign! Consider you guys have about 50 GB to work with. The trailer that was shown at the VGA on Spike was freaking awesome. Please update us Bruno on the progress when you can.
